Try-dive

Is diving for you? Have you always wanted to experience for real what you have only ever seen in photographs? HSAC regularly run try dives using full scuba kit in the pool, it’s not quite the Red Sea but our Instructors will make it a fun and interesting time and hopefully you will want to come back for more.

When can I do a try-dive?

We run try-dives regularly throughout the year, roughly every couple of months, on Tuesday evenings. Contact us to arrange a date.

We run Ocean Diver courses 3-4 times a year .  Other courses when required as divers wish to progress their knowledge and skills.

We begin our skills training in the confines of a heated swimming pool, moving on to sheltered open water sites like Guildenburg, Stoney Cove and Wraysbury.  These are purpose run sites for diver training giving a trainee the experience at varying depth before venturing into the open sea.

We welcome new members, both experienced and novice divers, so why not come along to one of our Try Dives and let us open your mind to a new world.

We have a strong contingent of instructors within the club all of which give their time for free including Dive Marshals and committee Members.
